Paul T. Walker
I am a Canadian educator, coach, businessman, and consultant specializing in English as a Second Language (ESL). Over the past decade, I have taught English (ESL/EFL) in both China and Canada, working with children, teenagers, and adults — including business professionals — to help them develop confidence and fluency in English communication.
I hold a TESL certification from the University of Calgary and am a member of ATESL, Toastmasters (CTM), and the Mentorship Program at Bow Valley College in Calgary. My professional background also includes a strong foundation in business and leadership, which I integrate into my teaching to provide relevant, real-world learning experiences.
I specialize in beginner through advanced conversational and academic English, Business English communication, and IELTS test preparation. My programs are student-focused, goal-oriented, and emphasize functional, day-to-day English communication skills that learners can immediately apply in real-life situations.
My goal is to create a sustainable and supportive learning environment where engaging lessons inspire and motivate learners of all levels to achieve their language goals and reach their full potential with an emphasis on “your voice, your future”.
Raymond W. Evans
I am a Canadian educator with over ten years of experience teaching English (EFL/ESL) in China and Canada. I have taught students ranging in age from six to seventeen and currently work with teenage international learners and adult Business English students in Canada.
With a specialized degree in Business Management and extensive corporate experience, I bring real-world insight into the classroom and provide engaging, practical instruction. As a certified Toastmasters member, I communicate effectively across diverse audiences and levels.
I offer one-on-one English tutoring programs and have mentored newcomers to Canada through various community initiatives. As a member of VESL, I support new immigrants through the Calgary Public Library ESL program.
My teaching approach is student-focused, goal-oriented, and rooted in developing functional, day-to-day English communication.
My goal is to make a lasting and positive impact on learners by helping them build confidence and master their written and verbal English skills in a fun, supportive, and motivating environment.
